Off to Lalaloopsyland we go!

Here we go!!!
I have a.treat! Whacky Hatter and Alice mini!!!!!! I love it! I've wanted this ever since I started collecting! We just never could find it at an affordable price. I'm not sure if they started selling these again, but we got it for about half of what they were asking on eBay last month. I'm in love with the Alice In Wonderland movies, books and dolls. One of my most favorite movies ever is Disney's Alice In Wonderland. When I found out that there was a Lalaloopsy Alice, I flipped a lid. I needed that doll! And I found her at Walmart! Then I found the mini, and saw how much they were selling for, got kinda sad, but never stopped looking, found it months later, and now I have it!!!
Alice is perfect, with her little bluegrass, striped stockings and blonde locks. She's accompanied by the white rabbit who is also wearing a little dress. The box is awesome. There's white and black stripes down the side and the back is pretty fitting also. There's pink flamingos, a tea pot for a tea party and a clock!!! There's playing cards off to the side also!
The Whacky Hatter mini is accompanied by Alice, the white rabbit, what looks like the Cheshire cat, a tray of cookies, a tea cup and a teapot! The Whacky Hatter has on a very colorful outfit and hair! Alice has a single bow on her he'd instead of like the full size doll with two bows. This has to be in my top three favorite minis!!!  The full size doll of Alice is one of my favorites also. Her sewn on date is June 12th, she's made from Alice In Wonderlands dress and she has a curious personality paired with being a daydreamer. The Whacky Hatters sewn on date is September 15th, from Mad Hatters hat and he's nutty!
This is a very awesome pair of minis, my friends. I hope you enjoy this treat as much as I do!!!
Next post will be another full size and maybe a mini.
Until next time,

Confetti Carnivale and Sew Sleepy Peanut Big Top!!!

This is Confetti Carnivale! She is one of the brightest colored dolls I've got in my collection.I love her fancy hair she's got,.it's.a.really bright pink, with little black bows on either side of her head. She has the black button eyes, with highlights painted on. She has a mask too! It's a cat mask, for her masquerade ball.

Her little dress is purples and pinks! Two of my favorite colors. She even has a fancy little pearl necklace to go with her fancy little dress.

Her tights are black and white harlequin print. She's wearing purple and pink shoes that remind me of a Jesters costume.

Her little pet is a.kitty cat, pink with black button eyes. It's got a long little tail, really cute.

This is our cat, Pootie, checking out Confetti.

The back of the box is really pretty. Her house is REALLY fancy! There's pearls and candles, shimmer and all kinds of pretty stuff! It's surrounded by a river and it has a bridge.
Her sewn on date is September 21st, sewn from a masked ball gown. Her personality is masked and mischievous. She's very pretty and fancy and brightly colored. It's easy to see why I love her so much!

This here, is Peanut Big Top! She's in the Sew Sleepy series. I love Peanut Big Top. She's one of my most favorite dolls in the whole lot. Top five, easy. Here's, she's featured with a sleeping bag and a little elephant.

I like her little footie pajamas. They're a Orange, yellow color with pink dots! She has little bows in her hair that's up in piggy tails! She has a.little star by her eye that's really cute. And her elephant has a cute little top hat!

The package that most of the minis come in can be used as houses. This one isn't  different. It's got a door and a window and its adorable!!the packages almost make me want to open them and play with them! But I won't.

Next post, I'll share another doll or two. Maybe even share a few of the ones I don't have.
Until next time,
Tonya@WoollyGhoulie

Its below freezing

It really is. And it's going to stay there for a good while. So with this, I give you Winter Snowflake!!!
Isn't she just charming? She has a little Fascinator style top hat and what looks like snow balls, too.

With her, they used hot pink, with red. Great choice in my opinion. She has the black button eyes, light pink cheeks and her hair is up in little SNOWBALLS!!!! She has a striped scarf to match her hot pink earmuffs!

She's dress like a snowman, almost, with the white outfit, the top hat, scarf and black pom pom buttons!  She's wearing her red and white polka dot tights with black boots. Her dress is covered in glitter, to make her look super snowy.

This pet looks like a cat to me. There's nothing that screams otherwise. It's light blue, with pink cheeks on a white face. It's wearing a pink scarf.

The back of the box almost resembles my yard! Although, we have no visible greenery. She has little yarn trees with decorations on them, a pink sled, a little yarn snowman, pom pom snowballs, a snowy walkway and of course, an ice cube house! It's a very pretty box, with the blues, pinks and white.
Her sewn on date is January 18th, made from snow and she LOVES snow.

I noticed for the first time that there are a few of my dolls, whose names aren't on the box fronts. There's a tag, and there's the info on the back. That's all. I thought something was amiss when I saw that, but I checked the others, and there's a few that way.
At the bottom of the box, there's the Collect Them All section. Listed are Confetti Carnivale, Teddy Honey Pots, Haley Galaxy, Mint E. Stripes, Peggy Seven Seas, Little Bah Peep, and Scraps Stitched 'n' Sewn. I was excited, because I have them ALL!!!! Yay!!!
Next time, I'll share another Lalaloopsy doll with you, from my collection. I have a special surprise I'm waiting on. Once I get that, I'll share  with you!!!
Until next time,

Rosie and Skelita

Today I'm sharing Rosie Bumps N Bruises and Skelita Calaveras.
Rosie is a Lalaloopsy doll that I've had my eyes on for some time now. When she was released, there were a bunch of them donated to The Red Cross for blood donations. I think that was awesome. MGA Entertainment is a great company. Okay, back to my doll baby. Rosie has a cute little hair doo going on. It's light blue, with the ends curled up and pink bows on either side of her bangs. She's got the black button eyes and cute little pink cheeks. I think they're the same color of her bows! Her dress is played with pink and white striped material, red and white polka dot material under that. She has an apron with a little heart on it an  a pink and white polka dot cape. She looks like an adorable candystriper. Her shoes are white Mary Jane's with red bows and she's wearing pink socks. Her pet is a little teddy bear. He has bandages all over him held with a safety pin. He has a heart patch for one eye, and a black button for the other. Her sewn on date is May 12th, she's sewn from a nurses uniform and she's super careful. She puts safety first! On her box, her house is made of bandages! Since she loves Orange juice, there's oranges on the ground. Her trees even have bandages. The box is cute, not my favorite display, but it's cute. I think my box is an older one. There's the rick rack on the sides as well as the front. I like the handle too, it's red and white. If you haven't noticed on your lalaloopsy dolls, the box handles aren't always the same. Some have different little things. Like Prairie Dusty Trails has a.sheriff's badge star on it. Rosies handle is normal, just in red and white. The colors of the handles usually go along with the color theme of the doll.
Isn't she adorable?

Such a cute outfit!

Now to share my one and only Monster High doll with you...

Skelita Calaveras is the only Monster High doll that I needed to have. I'm  fan of Day of the Dead stuff. It's creepy, pretty and very colorful. Skelita whole body stays within the theme of Day of the dead. She has a pretty painted skull face, skeletal legs and arms. Her skirts made of what looks to be traditional Day of the dead banners. She has Orange and black hair. She's very pretty, if you ask me. Her box is neat too. She's suppose to be in Scaris (Paris). I guess is Paris were a creepy, twisted and dark place, it could look like this.  She  the regular size of a Monster High doll, I just think she's special because there aren't any other dolls like her, that I've seen.
I hope you enjoyed my post today!
Until next time,

Scraps Stitch 'n' Sewn

Today it's going to be a mini. She was an exclusive at Target, and I got her for Halloween. She came along with another Halloween Mini, and I'll share her with you at another time.
Scraps is probably in the top 3 of my favorites. I have the full size also, but the mini is just too neat to not share with you. She looks like a Frankenstien doll, with her stitches on her face and arm. She's blue, like a little Frankenstein monster, too! Her hair reminds me of The Bride of Frankenstien, with the white stripe in her bangs. She's wearing a cute little green skirt with black underneath, and a purple top with black buttons. If I had this outfit, I'd wear it! Her shoes are miss matched, one green and one black with shoe stings vice versa. She has an embroidery hoop with a black heart she's working on, a carrying case, I'm assuming to carry her work in, and a book that's called "1001 Different Stitches". She also has a puppy that looks pieced together with different fabrics, he's purple and green.
Scraps was sewn on August 30th from scraps and... LIGHTNING!!!!!! She IS a Frankenstein monster!!!!!!!!! I like the personality description on her package, "She's a super-shy girl who's not very well put together. Not much of a talker, she dislikes crowds, but she loves making new friends." I do believe they were  on the correct track with the whole monster theme.
I love that MGA ENTERTAINMENT goes with different themes, and makes each doll special. This one makes me happy, because I'm a huge fan of Univeral Monsters, and she's like the baby that Frankies Monster and the Bride could've made! She crafty, too. I really like that =)
So there's my Scraps. She's special to me because she's a reflection of one of my favorite things. The back of her package looks like something Dr. Frankenstein would've created to bring her to life!
I hope you enjoy this doll as much as me!
Until next time,
Tonya@WoollyGhoulie

Three New Lalaloopsy dolls for me!!!!!!

Like I said in my last post, I will be sharing three of my newly added lalaloopsy dolls.

1. Marina Anchors

She had been on my wish list since the beginning of my collection. I thought she would go perfect next to Sailor Lalaloopsy. Little did I know she is kind of rare and expensive. I never wanted to spend a lot of money on these dolls. At least if I could keep finding them on eBay. But we found her for less than $20.00 at Wal-Mart. I guess I just got really lucky on that  trip. Marina has light blue pigtails held with red bows. She wears a red, white and blue sailor style dress with white shorts or pantaloons underneath it. She wears white socks and light blue sneakers that look like Chuck Taylor's. She has a little light blue whale pet with a sailors cap on. Her box is printed  with a nautical scene behind her. The waves look like they're made from iridescent fabric and shiny satin. There's a lighthouse behind her and a sailboat of  in the distance. It's very cute and looks like you can make it all with craft supplies.
Her born on date is June 8th, she's sewn from a sailors uniform and she's a tidy girl. She's one of my favorites because I like the nautical theme. I love traditional Sailor Jerry style art and she kind of reminds me of that.

2. Scarlet Riding Hood

Scarlet is one of the fairy tale dolls that Lalaloopsy has featured. I love the themes they give the dolls, especially if I grew up hearing the stories. I guess that's nostalgia. Scarlet has a very pretty pink hair in pigtails with a big red bow at the part of her hair on the side. Her eyes are black buttons, but they have grey highlights painted on. She wears a red scarf, a white and red shirt with a red, white and black jumper over it. She has a red and white plaid apron on too. She has white knee high socks with red and white hightop sneakers. Her pet is a cute little grey wolf with only one tooth. The background on her box is really neat. There's fabric trees with buttons, felt heart flowers, felt mushrooms, a fabric creek lined with little rocks and a little bridge made of sticks. The house pictured is cute, too. It looks like the roof has yarn for the shingles. Her born on date is May 18th, sewn from Red Riding Hoods cape and her personality is friendly and trusting.

3. Sahara Mirage

Sahara is also another favorite. Purple is one of my favorite colors, and she's coated in it. I love the bright colors this doll wears. She's in a pink, purple and gold trimmed genie outfit with cute little golden shoes. Her hair is a pretty purple with a gold tiara with pink gems. Her pet is a cute little camel that's got paisley molded on his body. He has a pink blanket on his back and a light pink tail on his orange body. He looks sleepy with his closed eyes. Her background in the box is probably the prettiest one I've seen. There's a purple glittery and shiny castle, what looks like little cushions, magic carpets, and a lot more glitter. It's all the purples and all the glitter a girl could ask for. On the back of the box, she has two little flowers by her eye, but the doll doesn't have them. The camel is also a little different. He's painted with paisley and flowers instead of being molded. I wonder if these were the original designs, and it was changed before they were released, or did some actually end up like that. Hmm. I'll have to go find out!!
Sahara's born on date is January 13th, sewn from a genies veil and she's got a giving personality.  One of the prettiest boxes and dolls I've got =)

On my next post, I'll fill you in on the Sahara Mirage mystery. Also, I'll be sharing another doll. I may take a break from the lalaloopsy bunch though. We'll see.
Until next time,

A new Mini, a new day

Hello! Today, I received a lovely little gift in the mail. It's the Silly FunHouse Marina Anchors!
She's the forth one in my Silly Funhouse series =) I love her! She's a 3" figure with a fishing pole, a snow cone, a rubber ducky and her pet whale. She's wearing a cute little pink skirt with a red, blue and Whitefield. She's also wearing what looks like a paper boat hat! As with most of the minis, the package is reusable. This one doesn't become a house, it  a game booth.
Marina Anchors is one of my most favorite ones ever. I'm a fan of the Nautical theme, even though I hate being in water. Hey, she can't swim, I can't swim. Perfect match. She has blue hair, I've had blue hair, perfect match. She's got skinny legs, I've got big tree trunks, so what? There's a few personality traits that I've got, that have been given to these dolls. I'm not saying I'm a crazy doll lady, I just think it's neat.
Now, the other day we were walking around in Wal-Mart, and found Marina Anchors full size, Scarlet Riding Hood full size and Sahara Mirage full size each for $18.88!!! We also found a few minis, Holly Sleighbells, Fancy Frost N Glaze and Dollop Light N Fluffy. They were almost $7, not anything over priced. But the full sized dolls at $18.88, I was excited! I will be sharing them with you next post. Yep, all three. =)
Until next time,

As my collection continues to grow...

I'm finding it harder and harder to make room for my dolls. Since I keep them boxed up, they're awfully bulky. The TV series boxes take up more room than the regular full size, the Oopsies take up more room than them, (good thing I only have one right now) and the one I got today came in a huge box!! It's the collectors edition Goldie Luxe. She is ABSOLUTELY beautiful!!! So right now, I have them all lined up and in rows, not happy about that. I don't really have much choice. Our storage space in the house isn't very organized right now. I'll be getting rid of the Christmas tree and putting Christmas stuff away throughout the next couple days.. hopefully that will take care of the dolls being gobbed up like they are. I do have the dolls with hang tags on them all on the walls hanging. And even a few on the wall that don't have tags. I have one shelf up, I do have a couple more though. Just need to make room for these things.
So I was looking at storage ideas on Pinterest for dolls like Lalaloopsy and action figures. As much as I love ideas that people have on the subject, where the heck am I to get the money to do these things?! Peg board seems to be the way though. And you can do a lot with it to make it look neat. I think once we get our second room (currently storage) cleaned out, I'll just use peg board for the walls. I can paint them whatever colors we like, and we can display both of our collections there. That way we can enjoy our stuff, and have it organized in a fashion that we like.
I know I said I'd feature another doll or two today, and I will. But I was just hoping that someone that had the same issues that I do currently, will throw out some ideas or share their aggravations. I'd even like to know what kind of stuff people are collecting. Eventually, I'd like to possibly get into swapping out things with people. I just need to find a way to.do so, and it actually work out. That's something I'd like to do on my crafting blog. Something like a dish cloth swap or something.

Okay. So here's the doll I'm going to share tonight.
Her name is Feather Tell-a-Tale. She was one of my Christmas gifts from Paul. I love this doll because she's not like the others. She has different hair than any others. I don't think that MGA Entertainment could use this hair again unless they made another Native American character doll. I can't imagine it working for any other themes. She has a test bear head totem, that I'm not real sure about. It's still cute, just not my favorite pet. She has a pink feather sticking out of the back of her head, and a purple head band that goes across her bangs. She's got braids and black button eyes. Her dress looks like.  Thin flannel type material, but that's also got it looking like it could be a leather dress. It's got blue fringe at the bottom and aztec like designs along the bottom. Her shoes are moccasins with what looks like reddish orange leg warmers. Her display in the box has a really pretty background. It's got a feather that's sticking out from the background, making it look like she's almost holding it. I realised I should probably be listing her Sewn on date and her personality and the thing she was made from.  Feather Tell-a-Tale was sewn on April 27th from a pair of moccasins and she's a nature-loving story teller. She likes braiding hair, doing crafts and telling stories. Makes once with the name and all.
Now, I like to look at the back of the boxes, and see what the sets that they have the dolls are made from. Mostly it's all craft supplies, and natural stuff like sticks. I read the idea for these dolls was based on recycling things, giving things a second life. I love that. I love to do that. I think that kids need to know that it's a positive thing, and doesn't make you less in society for being crafty and reusing stuff. It's popular now, but it doesn't mean it will stay that  when your kids are older and could use the skills to make do, or survive off the grid. I won't get carried away with that, but it's something that pops in my head occasionally. It something I'll touch base on in my other blog. Please share your thoughts and ideas on collections, storage, displaying, crafting, or anything else pertaining to my rambles!!!
Until next time,
Tonya@WoollyGhoulie

Nap time in icy times.

I'll be blabbing about my newest two Lalaloopsy dolls, Pillow Featherbed and Ivory Ice Crystals.
Pillow is a full size doll with a sheep for a pet. She's so cute! I love her! She looks like a sweet little baby, in her pink striped footy pajamas! She's got a lavender color hair and a dark pink bow. She also has a matching sleep mask that says Do Not Disturb on it. She really is sweet looking. I've wanted for a good bit now. Paul found her re-release on sale at Wal-Mart and ordered her for me. He really has made a spoiled brat out of me. I'm not sure that Pillow has shoes on. I can't tell. I do know that there are very few that don't have shoes, like maybe two. Don't quote me on that, because I'm not sure.
(Bad pic, sorry!!!!)

Ivory Ice Crystals is a Mini Lalaloopsy doll. She's a Target Exclusive that I never paid much attention to because the few that I would come across were too expensive for me at the moment. Paul apparently found a great deal on her and purchased her for me! She comes equipped with a blue popsicle, a little puppy and a snow globe. She has light blue shimmery hair that I love!!! And a transparent blue crown. She wears a cape and a white dress. She's very adorable!!! I never paid attention to her, and I was completely thrown off when she came in the mail. This is one of my most favorite minis!!!

My next blog will be on another full size lalaloopsy, and maybe a surprise doll!!!
Until next time,
Tonya @WoollyGhoulie
Oh yes, you can find me on Pinterest!!! Just look for Tonya Cook =)

Exactly what i promised.

This is a post on one of my newest Lalaloopsy dolls. Her name is Yuki Kimono
She's the only one with that hair design and color! It's a dark purple/midnight blue color. She has three little flower blossoms by her eye, big pretty flowers in her hair, an awesome kimono, cute and traditional inspired sandals with white socks and her pet is a sweet and cute lucky cat! This is the most unique doll, in my opinion, that they've put out. Her theme is one of the best and I like that they've kept it traditional. I flipped a lid when I saw her on Lalaloopsyland wikia and knew I had to have her. Luckily, Paul kept checking around for her and found her on Walmarts website for only $19.98. He went back to look for another doll today, and she wasn't even listed. He ordered it and it only took a couple days to get here. He ordered her and Pillow Featherbed!!! I love her too. I'll feature that sweet lil thing tomorrow.
Like I've said before, I keep my dolls in the box, unless I have a double or find them without boxes or have to build them. Maybe one day, if I have a daughter or a grand daughter, she will want these adorable dolls. I do get really excited when I get to open one up though. It's exciting and I almost feel like I shouldn't be doing it because I'll get in trouble. But you have to really enjoy your collection, and when you have a few that you can play with and change their clothes around, then it makes it worth keeping the others out of touch.
I also wanted to share my Bride of Frankenstien that I got for Christmas. Paul knows that the Univeral Monsters are my most favorite thing as far as movies go. He found an action figure that looks like an old MEGO!!! She's pretty awesome!
I really wanna open her up and play with her, but I have some control. I'll leave her packaged up because I love the packaging as much as I do her. One day, I'll have the whole set. I'll work on that and my lalaloopsy collection. Among a couple others I'll share at another time. The Bride is a ball jointed doll. She even has the scar on her neck! Her face is perfect, eyebrows look insane, eyes are wide open with light blue eye shadow, her lips are blood red, her hair is insane like it should be. I really love this doll. =) Thank you to my sweet man.
Tomorrow I'll feature Pillow Featherbed and maybe another doll. Who knows? I hope you enjoy these posts about my collection at least half as much as I do.
Until next time,
Tonya@WoollyGhoulie

A cool fresh breath!

I think that's an appropriate title for this post. You know why? Because today I FINALLY received one of my most favorite dolls. It's a Lalaloopsy doll, Mint E Stripes. She is absolutely adorable!!
This picture is courtesy of toysrus.com .I tried taking my own pictures, but they wouldnt turn out good. I'm leaving the doll in the box, so it wouldn't be very good anyway.
I fell in love with this doll as soon as I saw her. She immediately reminded me of an old pair of quad skates I used to have. She is by far one of my absolute favorite dolls.
Her shoes are great! I wish I had a pair! Her tights are painted on blue and white stripes. I'm glad they're a different color than red. That'd be a little too much I think. Her little buns on top of her head look like peppermint candies, and so does her pets ears! The dog's tail is a candy cane, and that's adorable. She's the perfect Christmas or Winter doll. Very festive looking.
It's too bad for people that want to take them out of the box that the box isn't reusable like the minis boxes. The backgrounds on the boxes are neat. I think MGA should reconsider how they pack the dolls. Storage for them would be great.
I think this doll is one of the sweetest things. I've been admiring her for months now, and Paul got her for me! He's so sweet =)

Ned  blog, I'll be blogging about one of the newest Lalaloopsy dolls, Yoki Kimono.. She's a brand new 2014 doll, and has very different features than any other dolls in the Lalaloopsy gang.
Until next time,
Tonya@WoollyGhoulie

Anchors Aweigh!!!!

The Sailor Lalaloopsy doll was the first of my collection.
I ripped that box open as soon as I got it home! I loved the fact that I "built"  her. She came in pieces, arms, legs, head, hair and hat. It was easy assembly. But the best part of these Workshop dolls... they're interchangeable. You can take the head and hair from one body, put it on the other. Mix and match. I love it. =) I don't mix them and match them, just because I don't want to wear them out. I like them as they are. Okay. Back to Sailor. She has her clothes mostly painted on. She does have a skirt that's actual fabric and sewn. It's got Velcro for closure. The shoes don't come off, like they do on the full size dolls. They're made from hard plastic and their heads aren't soft and squishy like the full size either. They're smaller all-around. Sailor came with a little hat. It makes her outfit complete. She is perfectly adorable with her blonde piggy tails and her blue button eyes. Easy to understand why I love her!
I also wanted to share a mini part of my collection. I love The Wizard Of Oz. One of the best movies ever! I remember the first time I watch it, it scared me. But the older I got, the more I love  it. So I saw a cute Mini-Lalaloopsy that looked like the Tin Man! Tinny Tinker. I fell in love! I grabbed her and took it home. Paul talked to me about it before I ripped it open, and convinced me to not open her. She was displayed in the box perfectly and I didn't want to lose any parts. So the minis will stay in the box. Tinny Tinker turned into the whole shebang. Here's what I'm talking about.
I love this little series! I saw a witch one, but I think she may have been a customized one. So anyway, I love them and I think you all should love them too!!!!  I'll fill you in more on those later. =)
Until next time,
Tonya@WoollyGhoulie

Where this obsession all began.

Let me take you back to about 1989. I was a six year old girl with two brothers, a mommy and a daddy. On this particular Christmas, I opened up a present, containing the most beautiful, sweet, lovely, awesome doll in my world. What's this doll you ask? Well, her name was Baby Sparkles, little sister to P.J. Sparkles. I immediately fell head over heels in love with this doll baby. She was perfect! And I had been told she looked just like I did as a baby. But I later found out, that it was just hair color and eye color. She smelled of baby powders! She had curly blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes! She had pretty pink lips and cute little feet and hands! And the best part was, if you kiss her cheek, and her head went back, SHE WOULD SPARKLE!!!!!!! What?! I must have been AWESOME that year for Santa to bring me Baby Sparkles!!! I had never been so excited. I remember ripping the box open to get to her. I remember everything about that moment! I remember carrying her around EVERYWHERE I went. I remember my brothers giving me grief about my doll baby. I remember how much I loved, truly loved this doll. She was the best thing and the only thing. Nothing compared to my Baby Sparkles.
Here's where it gets nasty. One day, my brothers and I were fighting, like we always did. I happened to have Baby Sparkles in my arms when this particularly terrible pick session was going on. It was my turn, again, to be bullied and beat up on. It seemed like it was always my turn. Baby Sparkles was wrapped up tight in my arms, my brothers trying to pull her away, me crying and begging for them to leave us alone, and my brother grabs her head, tries to pull her away from me. I scream as I watch her head leave my arms. I look down, her body I still have a hold of. I was mortified. I thought for sure it was the end of the world. My brother, seeing how upset I truly was, decided he would try to put her head back on.... with roofing tar. Yep. Roofing tar. She would no longer smell like baby powders, and I couldn't have her sparkle when I kissed her cheek. She had been murdered, and frankenstiened back together.. my heart was broken, but I tried to take her back, and keep her away from those stinky boys forever, but her head fell off. I had tar on me, my clothes and my doll baby. I decided to give another doll a try, but it wasn't the same. No other doll had grabbed my size year old heart like Baby Sparkles had.
Now, present time. Here I am, 30 years old, still broken hearted about my Baby Sparkles. I still cry thinking about that terrible day. I've had worse days by now. I appreciate that. But I'm still haunted by that day. I shared my story with my wonderful fiance a few years ago. He attempted to get me a Baby Sparkles, but something was weird with my address, and it wouldn't ship. I pushed the thought back, way back in my mind. Every once in a blue moon, it would surface.. but I just pushed it back. I found a BabY Sparkles on eBay, and told my Paul about her. So the sweet thing he is, he got it for me =) Best gift ever!!!!!!
That's what started this...
I saw this Sailor doll in walmart one day, and thought to myself how adorable it was. Then I thought about how I needed to take that doll home. So I did. It was a Lalaloopsy Workshop doll.
She was the beginning of a big obsession for me. I now have over 35 Lalaloopsy dolls. I have some Minis, some Full Size and some Workshops. In this blog, I will feature one doll a week, maybe more. I'll include information and news on upcoming dolls. I'll be making clothes, eventually, for my dolls that loose, out of box. I'll post those here as well as my other blog.
This isn't just about lalaloopsy dolls though. I have a few others I'll be featuring in this blog. All the dolls and action figures that I have and want. =)
Until next time,
