Another post for the Peanut Gallery!!!!!

Hi folks!
Today, I got a special little Lalaloopsy mini in the mail. I am SO excited about this mini!

Here's why. She was the only Peanut Big Top mini that's not only available with a play set, toy car or carrying case, that I didn't have. I have wanted her for so long! I love her little dress and the skirt on her pet elephant! She's not wearing her usual garb. Peanut is wearing a gold colored dress with orange trim around the skirt and a hot pink belt with a bow. she's wearing black and white striped stockings with white socks over them. For the shoes, she's wearing orange mary janes with pink bows. She's got a balloon, a hoola hoop and a drum to stand on. This is a very adorable mini. One of my favorites!
So that's my Peanut's Elephant Act. :) I love her!

Here's another doll I got in the mail today. Now, before I show you this doll, let me say a few things.
First, she has been on my mind for a long time. I have debated on her for probably about a year. Ever since I started collecting dolls, I wanted her. She's not a Lalaloopsy doll. She's something completely different. She's a Pullip doll. Actually, a Little Pullip doll. She's from China, like most dolls anymore, but she's an actual Chinese designed doll. Her name is Romantic Alice. I love her. Here she is...

This is her!!!
Her name is Alice, she's absolutely adorable! Her hair is super soft, her face feels like its porcelain but it's plastic. She has a cute olive green bow in her hair, bangs cute straight across, and her hair is long and blonde. It does need a little T.L.C., just to get the hair looking a little bit neater, but that's not a big deal, and can be done with a bit of steam and a wash cloth. Her eyes are brown, with black eye liner on the top lids. She's wearing a cute beige colored apron with lace detailing. Her dress is blue with a lace collar. She's got on striped white and beige stockings that are painted on. she's got black shoes painted on. Her arms and legs both move independently, they aren't attached to each other like a lot of smaller dolls. This doll is probably about 5" tall. She's very petite.
I spent $20.00 plus shipping on her through Amazon. The seller was in California, and I got the doll within four days. Mind you, I live on the other side of the country, in West Virginia, so when I got her that fast, I was very surprised. I was kind of skeptical about getting a Little Pullip doll, but I'm extremely glad I did. Now, I did take her out of the box, because when she arrived, she looked silly. Her head was very weird looking, and her hair was terrible. So I took her out, because I don't plan on getting these dolls like this, to add to a serious collection. I plan on playing with these dolls, changing their clothes, their hair, maybe even their makeup. It just depends, and I want to be able to enjoy these dolls. So I will.

There's something I wanted to talk about that I don't have... And I'm not sure I'll get any. There's these dolls out, their Disney Princess dolls, but the line is called Once Upon A Zombie. I think they look kinda neat just from what I've seen on the internet. I'm not sure how they look in person, because I've never seen them in a store. There's also another line o Zombie dolls. Actually, it's zombies, vampires and something else, I'm not sure what. But they sell them in Toy'R'Us, near the Monster High and Ever After High dolls. They're called  Mystixx. I liked them when I initially saw them, but then I wasn't sure about them when I looked at them closely. What do y'all think about them? Anyone have either of those? Or any other dolls you want to share?

So that's my post on dolls for the day. I hope you enjoyed it. I also hope that the different dolls get different people interested in this blog. I do my best at making these posts bearable, and enjoyable. But I never get any responses on anything, so I'm not sure how people feel about it.
If you have any suggestions, or ideas for me to try out, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Until next time,
Tonya@Woollyghoulie

Kat Jungle and Whiskers Lion's Roar!!!

Hey Folks!
Today I'm going to be sharing with you, my Lalaloopsy dolls, Kat and Whiskers!
I got these a little while ago, and didn't ever share them. Not sure why I didn't. But, I'm doing it today!!!
I snagged this picture from ebay

This is a double pack. It came with Whispers and Kat, their pets and a poster. The box is adorable. There's a monkey that looks like he belongs to Ace Fender Bender, hanging in the tree, a few compasses to decorate the trees, there's some "zebras" that look like they belong to Spot Splatter Splash in the back and Sahara Mirage's camel!!
First we will go over Whiskers Lion's Roar. She's the little sister to Kat. She's wearing a cheetah print costume fully equipped with a tail, ears and a contrasting belly! It's very adorable. She has pink hair and rosy pink cheeks. Her pet is a little lion cub that has a brown nose and brown whiskers.
Now we go on to Kat Jungle Roar. She's wearing a cute outfit that looks like she needs to be on a safari. It's made from the same material that Whiskers has on her outfit for the belly. It's a light beige color with tan polka dots. Kat's outfit is trimmed with the same material that Whiskers outfit is made from, the cheetah print. She has hot pink buttons and pockets on the front of her shirt, and little hot pink bands around her knees.  She's wearing a pair of high-top sneakers that are hot pink and orange, with lighter pink, white and orange socks. Her hair is pinkish-purple, braided into piggy tails. She has a headband on her head that looks like cat ears! It does NOT come off. So when you go buy your Kat, don't try to take it off. It's glued in there. Kat also has a cute little paw print by her left eye. Very cute detail. Her cheeks are a rosy pink as well. Her pet is a lion with a pink bow in his hair, a black nose and whiskers. This lion has a brown mane, I don't know why he's wearing a bow in his hair, but that's okay.
I noticed that in the photo of these dolls for the box, they had the dolls set to be in pink cheetah print outfits, instead of the tan and brown color ones. I think I like the one's that they're pictured in, a little better. That's not a big deal, because they're so adorable. And the way they're in the box, it looks like they're holding hands. I love it. They're the second cutest pairing of siblings that I've seen. My most favorite is Dyna and Tiny Might. I love those two so much. But these two are also so sweet and precious.
So that's my share on Whiskers and Kat! I hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for reading my post!!

Until next time,

Refunded doll orders bum me out.

So, I had to get a refund on my order for the Icy doll that I ordered from DHGate.com. I've got mixed feelings about this. I like the doll I ordered. I was torn between her and a couple others when I placed the order. I settled on her, for a couple reasons. The price was right, since I had never purchased an Icy doll before. She was a limited edition doll, of only 2,000, so I thought I was getting a good deal on that alone. Lastly, she had a very adorable doll, and cute accessories that the other dolls didn't come with. Those were good selling points. I was really satisfied once I ordered her. I thought to myself  "Self, you're getting a cute doll, she's got a few bonuses that the others don't come with and she has yellow hair." And then I got the dreaded e-mail today saying that she was no longer in stock.
Immediate disappointment set in. I wanted that doll, she was suppose to be on her way to me already, and I was excited. Now I don't have this Icy doll to look forward to. I was extremely satisfied with the seller, though. She offered me three other dolls to substitute the one she doesn't have anymore. But I didn't like them. Okay, I liked them, but I didn't like them enough to buy for my first Icy doll. Maybe if I had unlimited money in the bank, and wanted all of the Icy dolls I could ever get my hands on. But that's NOT the case. Not at all. I don't have unlimited money in the bank. I have to be choosy and picky with what I spend it on. I want things for specific reasons, and I don't want to settle or something that I don't really care for, just because the money's already spent. So once I get that refund back, I'll take that money and hold onto it, before I can find me another doll that I like as much, or more.
On the other hand....
I was kind of okay with the refund. I watched an unboxing video for the doll that I ordered. I liked the way she came out of the box, and the way she was made, from what I could see. But... Her hair was a mess. It was completely uneven and looked like my five year old self decided to chop off her hair in a fit of boredom. Who's to say that all the wigs that they fabricate aren't cut that bad? I don't mind not finding out. I think that the Icy doll that I do buy, will have long hair, like most of the Blythe dolls, so I can cut it and style it myself. I do like the long hair on the Blythe doll I ordered. I probably won't do anything with her hair, depending on my fits of boredom.
I did order a Little Pullip doll. It was a good deal, she's a very pretty doll, and in the USA. So I should have her by Monday or Tuesday. Hopefully I'll get her sooner, because I'm extremely excited about her. I wasn't expecting to buy a Pullip doll yet. I was going to wait until I got my Tangkou, Blythe and Icy dolls to see if I wanted to find another doll. But, I found her on Amazon and she just looked so pretty. I decided that she's going to be the last doll I buy for a bit.
So Paul ordered me a Lalaloopsy doll last night. What one is it? It's the Peanut's Elephant Act! She's the only Peanut Big Top mini that I don't have hanging on my walls. I'm exited to get her! She's already been shipped out and is on her way to ME!!!!

Well, folks... That's all I have right now. I don't have any pictures taken of my Lalaloopsy dolls right now. I'll get back to it soon, I promise. So stay tuned and I'll keep you posted on my dolls I'm expecting, and I'll share more dolls soon!
Until next time,

Blythe and Tangkou Dolls

So, I've been looking at Blythe dolls for a while now.. since I started collecting Lalaloopsy dolls. I love the big eyes, big heads and smaller bodies, something these dolls have in common. Once I started looking at Blythe dolls, I found Tangkou dolls, Icy dolls, Pullip dolls and plenty other ball jointed dolls. I fell in love. I couldn't afford them... at all.
So I finally was able to spend a little today.. I have been searching for the perfect dolls for the last few days. I found them. We ordered them today, and I can't wait until they get here.
I ordered a  Neo Blythe doll, and a Tangkou doll. They Blythe doll comes nude with just a wig. I'm not even sure it comes with a stand, to be honest with you. The Tangkou doll is called The Horned Fairy. She's absolutely beautiful. I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her.
Okay. So I spent $65.95 free shipping on Blythe from DHgates.com. I think that's an amazing deal, considering every other Blythe doll was more than that, plus about $22.00 in shipping.
On the Horned Fairy, now... that's the one that hurts. I almost didn't get her. Paul went to order her probably five different times, and I kept stopping him. She was a total of $92.00. That's the most I've ever spent on a doll. Hopefully the most I'll ever spend. If it weren't for the valid points my dear Paul makes when I'm indecisive, I wouldn't have had him order her. Now, she comes clothed, with a stand and a passport. That's what she's suppose to come with anyway. I hope everything is perfect with her, for that amount of money.
I watched a few unboxing videos today, of the dolls I ordered. There was this one of a young girl, I believe she was French, and she touched my heart. She was so excited about her doll, I loved it. She opened the doll with care, and was smiling and squealing the whole time. It made me so happy to see how happy a doll can make a young lady. She had a collection of them, and you could just tell she took great care of them.
These aren't dolls I'm going to leave in the box. So that's another thing that I'm excited about. They don't display well in the boxes like Lalaloopsy dolls do. The Blythe doll, I will be creating clothes for, and the Tangkou needs to be displayed nicely and have pictures taken of her with the Blythe doll.

I'm holding out on the Lalaloopsy dolls until the new ones are released. We've just been getting minis if they're a good enough deal. I still love my Lalaloopsy dolls, folks. I'm not a trader. I love dolls. I love Lalaloopsy dolls, the dolls I had as a child, and dolls that aren't anything like the others I have.
I just hope they get here as fast as possible. I might try to do an unboxing video for them. I wouldn't be posting it on YouTube though. Just here.
If you don't know what these dolls are, I suggest going on Google, clicking on the images button, and typing in Blythe dolls, or Tangkou dolls. The customizations people do to these dolls blow my mind. I don't want to do anything like that with these dolls. Maybe change the hair once in a while, the clothes.. but that's it.
Speaking of customizing dolls... I was in Walmart the other day, found a Monster High Build A Monster kit. I grabbed it, not realizing it says Add On pack. Well, I have to get the rest before I can build a monster. But I can customize the dolls faces and hair. They come blank! I think that's awesome, and I can't wait to start on that!!! Ever since I started looking at dolls, I've wanted to try my hand at customizing one. I don't like the way the faces look so made up on most dolls. I like simple faces, not these over plump, hot pink or bright red lips, or eyes with tons of blue eyeshadow around them. That's another thing I like about Lalaloopsy dolls, Blythe dolls and Tangkou dolls. The make up, if any, is very simple. So stay tuned to my blog, and hopefully soon, you'll be seeing something different from my normal posting.
Until next time,
Tonya@Woollyghoulie

My Lalaloopsy Haul

Hey everyone!!! Today, I received four new Lalaloopsy Mini dolls in the mail!

First, Toffee Cocoa Cuddles.
I love Toffee as a large doll. She's my number one, easily. I love the mini of her too. She's not my number one mini, but she's pretty high up there. Her hair is as vivid and bright as the full size. That's one big thing about her that I love. The dress is great, the accessories are adorable, and the shoes are cute. Her package is so cute, I love the way MGA decided to do the mini boxes. I don't like the ones that are glued to a backboard as much. I like the idea of the box being used as a toy house for the dolls.
Second, Marina's Beach Day.
Marina is another favorite of mine. She just is. The light blue hair, the bathing suit, arm floaties and  sandals, whale and her accessories are just perfect. I love the large doll, and every mini I've ever seen of her. I just haven't been able to get them all yet. This is one of my favorite minis of her, because she's in a cute bathing suit, and the whale has on a hat. I'm really glad I found her cheap, because usually, all the minis of her are sky high.

Thirdly, Peanut's New Tricks!
If you read the blogs before these, I'm sure you know that Peanut is one of my most favorites ever. She's got a bunch of minis out there, and I've got six of them now. I'm in love with this doll. Her circus theme just draws me in. Its cute and fun. This doll is similar to the original Peanut mini. There are slight changes in the accessories, and her outfit is different. I will be extremely excited to put her next to all the other Peanut dolls I have.

Last but definitely not least, Patch's Treasure Hunt!!!!!!!!
I have wanted this cute lil guy ever since I saw him. I love his little outfit, and eye patch, I love his treasure map, telescope and chest, and I definitely love his bird. This is the best box, too. The reason he's so cute? His outfit, and he's a boy!!!! There's not very many boy minis, or large dolls. But there are more minis than large dolls. So, he's kind of rare, and mostly goes for around fifty bucks. I didn't  pay fifty bucks. It wasn't that cheap, he was around twenty dollars. That's a lot for a mini, but when you collect, you pay. I couldn't find him around here at all, or online in any retail stores, so we got him on ebay. Honestly, that's where most of my mini dolls come from. Ebay has an abundance of Lalaloopsy on there, so you can pretty much find whatever you want, used or new.

So that's my haul for today. I'm so excited!!! I can't wait to get all of my dolls on a display where you can see them all in one spot.

Until next time,
Tonya @woollyghoulie

Peanut Big Top, AGAIN?!

Oh, yes. I love me some Peanut Big Top. She's easily one of the top three favorites.
This is what I have as far as Peanut goes. I have another mini on the way, but I couldn't wait! She's so cute and adorable.

Sorry about the sideways picture. So I have Peanut in her original mini, Sew Sleepy mini, Moments in Time mini, Sisters mini with Squirt Lil' Top. I have a Littles Squirt, a micro Peanut and the Sew Limited Edition Peanut. The Squirt Lil' Top is missing her hat and her pet peanut. The reason for this is because she was purchased at a Goodwill. I received her as a gift this past weekend. I love her! I would love to have her in the package. Maybe one day...
My favorite mini is probably the original. Oh yes!!!! I have another mini Peanut!!!

I forgot I had this until I was about to tell you about it! It's Peanut in Silly Fun House!!! She's with Ember dressed like her puppy. There's a balloon animal, a pie, tricycle, Peanuts pet elephant, and Embers pet puppy. This Silly Fun House series is another of my favorites. I love the circus themes that are going on here.
Again, I will not be opening my Lalaloopsy dolls. If they're open, it's because I got them that way, or maybe a double. I will open the Workshop dolls. I love to play around with them, mix them up a bit. I actually  will be posting them next!!! I hope you enjoyed this post about  Peanut Big Top and Squirt Lil' Top! Some of my favorites!!
Until next time,

Cherry Crisp Crust!!!!

Hi!
Today, I received a new mini! Cherry! I've had the large doll since it first came out. Now I have them both! Yay! So I have noticed some things about the mini and the large. Here's the pictures, so you can see what I'm talking about:

Okay, first thing is first, hair. The hair is different, not drastically, but its enough for me to notice. The large doll has her scoop of ice cream up higher in her bangs. Her bangs have three curls, the mini only has the one, then they swoop over and there's the ice cream scoop. Also, the  hair seems a little shorter and bigger on the mini, like there's more hair on her head. Secondly, the dress. I like the large dress, just because of the eyelet sleeves and the gingham print top, but the skirt is terrible. The mini's dress is much cuter. It actually looks like a pie. Her top matches the skirt, both looking like pie. That's it as far as differences.
The pet is my favorite pet out of all pets. It's a little black bird with cherries hanging out of his mouth. He's got a little red bow on his head too. Okay, the mini has pink cheeks and the large has black cheeks. The black, btw, isn't really black, its a dark grey.
The mini comes with a rolling pin, a bowl of cherries and a cherry pie! I think she's adorable. I know I've said this before, but I love the themes that MGA goes with. The new dolls that will be coming out this year hand next are going to be awesome. There's a wizard themed doll that people keep thinking is a witch. There's a snow cone themed doll that looks like Scoops. There's a birthday cake themed doll, she's completely unique and adorable, and there's  different lines!!! There's Lalaloopsy Girls that are teenage versions of the original eight dolls. There's Tinies that are replacing the Micros, I wonder what they'll look like? There's going to be more minis!!! And some minis are going to be large dolls!! I can't wait to get my hands on all these new dolls. I don't think I'll completely be enamored over the Girls line, but I'll see. Oh! Also, there's going to be Doodle dolls. I have no idea where that's going, but I bet it'll be awesome. So that's that, so far. I hope you enjoyed my dolls and my post!!!
Until next time,
P.S. don't forget to follow me on twitter !!!!!

Toasty Sweet Fluff!!!

Hi again!
I got another new Lalaloopsy Mini I'd like to share with you. Her name is Toasty Sweet Fluff.
She's one of my favorite minis. And guess what?! She's probably going to be a Large Doll!!!!! I can't wait!!!! She's so pretty and pristine!

I love that her dress has this white fiber glued to it to make it look fluffy. I read some blogs, apparently she gets filthy really fast when she's played with. I will NOT be playing with her. She's staying in her box, where she can stay white and clean and lovely. She has on what looks to be white snow boots and pink bows on them, white gloves with fluffy white cuffs at the wrists! Her house (box) is made of marshmallow ropes and pillows. She has a bunny for a pet... but he's a marshmallow!!! She also has marshmallows on a stick, and in her hair. She has almost the same hair as Sticky Bun Bun. Its very cute, ear length, layered and straight bangs with a pink bow atop her head. She comes with a duffle bag and a pillow also. Her sewn on date is Aug. 10th, she's made from a marshmallow, she's light-hearted has a bounce in her step, loves baby animals and big squishy hugs. She's super sweet and super cute!!!!
She's definetly one of my favorite mini's EVER. She's so adorable and pretty. Perfect for any little girl to play with a pretty little doll. I hope MGA comes out with more dolls that have such complimentary color schemes and looks. I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I have!! Thanks for reading!!!
Until next time,
Tonya @woollyghoulie

Snowy Fairest!!!!

I have a very important message to share with you. Today, I recieved a very important addition to my collection. It's Snowy Fairest. I have ALL THREE Snowy Fairest Lalaloopsy dolls now. The Large doll, the Sew Snowy Mini, and the Mini Tales. I LOVE Snowy. She's easily in my top five faves. I love her apron, if ya look close enough, it has three stages of an apple; whole, one bite missing and completly eaten. The design is made to look like cross stitch, something else I love. In her Sew Snowy Mini, she's got a tea pot, a tea cup, a little squirell and a bottle with what looks to be cinnamon sticks. She's wearing a yellow and pink coat, with gold tights and pink boots with white laces. her haid is like Rosie Bumps 'N' Bruises hair, only black with one pink bow, instead of the two light pink bows. The Mini Tales Snowy she's dressed like the Large Lalaloopsy doll, with the apron, pink and white top with the yellow skirt. The shoes are different in all three dolls. She's wearing pink and white sneakers with white socks in this mini instead of the boots, or the Mary Janes like she wears in the large doll. The squirell pet in this mini looks more like the large pet. The colors are the same, as where they're lighter in the body and darker in the face on the Sew Snowy one. She's paired up with a little Dwarf, who's wearing a red hat, and a blue top. He's got a white beard and mustache and white hair. All three have those cute button eyes. She also has a carmel covered apple and a yellow and pink mirror. There's another difference with the minis and the large doll. The large has a glitter covered pink bow in her hair, and the minis do not have any glitter at all.
Like I said, Snowy is easily in my top five faves. She's adorable and pretty and sweet. I've always had a special place in my heart for Snow White, and these dolls are perfect. I'll share my other Snow White collectable with you in another post. I'm going to try to keep these posts to one subject each. So, that's my Snowy Fairest Dolls!! I'll be posting about Toasty next!!!

I got a GREAT DEAL!!!!!

Today, I was in Walmart getting a cake for Paul's mother's birthday. I had to go by the Lalalopsy section of the toys, because I do it every time I go in the store. Just in case I find something I don't have! Well, I did find something I didn't have! And it was only $8!!!!!!!
The Lalaloopsy RC Scooter!!!!!! I didn't find one with the dolls, that may be just certain stores. But it's only $8!!!! It's on clearance. Check the walmart near you!!! I know ours had a bun  of them left. Probably ten or so.
They didn't have any Lalaloopsy dolls that I don't have already. Besides, I'm holding out for the new dolls. =)
Until next time,
