Refunded doll orders bum me out.

So, I had to get a refund on my order for the Icy doll that I ordered from DHGate.com. I've got mixed feelings about this. I like the doll I ordered. I was torn between her and a couple others when I placed the order. I settled on her, for a couple reasons. The price was right, since I had never purchased an Icy doll before. She was a limited edition doll, of only 2,000, so I thought I was getting a good deal on that alone. Lastly, she had a very adorable doll, and cute accessories that the other dolls didn't come with. Those were good selling points. I was really satisfied once I ordered her. I thought to myself  "Self, you're getting a cute doll, she's got a few bonuses that the others don't come with and she has yellow hair." And then I got the dreaded e-mail today saying that she was no longer in stock.
Immediate disappointment set in. I wanted that doll, she was suppose to be on her way to me already, and I was excited. Now I don't have this Icy doll to look forward to. I was extremely satisfied with the seller, though. She offered me three other dolls to substitute the one she doesn't have anymore. But I didn't like them. Okay, I liked them, but I didn't like them enough to buy for my first Icy doll. Maybe if I had unlimited money in the bank, and wanted all of the Icy dolls I could ever get my hands on. But that's NOT the case. Not at all. I don't have unlimited money in the bank. I have to be choosy and picky with what I spend it on. I want things for specific reasons, and I don't want to settle or something that I don't really care for, just because the money's already spent. So once I get that refund back, I'll take that money and hold onto it, before I can find me another doll that I like as much, or more.
On the other hand....
I was kind of okay with the refund. I watched an unboxing video for the doll that I ordered. I liked the way she came out of the box, and the way she was made, from what I could see. But... Her hair was a mess. It was completely uneven and looked like my five year old self decided to chop off her hair in a fit of boredom. Who's to say that all the wigs that they fabricate aren't cut that bad? I don't mind not finding out. I think that the Icy doll that I do buy, will have long hair, like most of the Blythe dolls, so I can cut it and style it myself. I do like the long hair on the Blythe doll I ordered. I probably won't do anything with her hair, depending on my fits of boredom.
I did order a Little Pullip doll. It was a good deal, she's a very pretty doll, and in the USA. So I should have her by Monday or Tuesday. Hopefully I'll get her sooner, because I'm extremely excited about her. I wasn't expecting to buy a Pullip doll yet. I was going to wait until I got my Tangkou, Blythe and Icy dolls to see if I wanted to find another doll. But, I found her on Amazon and she just looked so pretty. I decided that she's going to be the last doll I buy for a bit.
So Paul ordered me a Lalaloopsy doll last night. What one is it? It's the Peanut's Elephant Act! She's the only Peanut Big Top mini that I don't have hanging on my walls. I'm exited to get her! She's already been shipped out and is on her way to ME!!!!

Well, folks... That's all I have right now. I don't have any pictures taken of my Lalaloopsy dolls right now. I'll get back to it soon, I promise. So stay tuned and I'll keep you posted on my dolls I'm expecting, and I'll share more dolls soon!
Until next time,
Tonya @Woollyghoulie
